New Podcast

Posted Monday, November 30 at 11:08 pm

Join Ryan Price and Mike Anello as they prove that without adult supervision, they can create podcasts as long as anyone. Andrew Riley was snatched by aliens again, so it was up to Ryan and Mike to cover 4 weeks worth of news on a single podcast. Listen in as they discuss the biggest story in the Drupal universe this year (hint: it rhymes with "kitemouse.luv"), $50 lunches, unfortunate verbage, and Mike's new favorite book. (Shhh - don't tell Andrew - we actually have 6 stories in our "5 stories" segment).

Testimonial

Mike & Ryan's session on March 11th was a great intro to what DrupalEasy training is capable of teaching. From solid fundamentals and practices, to a complex, automated feed aggregator, everything was laid out in plain detail, so any skill level, from Beginner, to Ninja could have picked it up quickly. I am anxiously waiting the next session, and encourage anyone who wants to sharpen their Drupal knowledge to drop by a session, and get their learn on

Join Andrew, Ryan, Mike, along with special guest Erik "Bladwin" Baldwin as they discuss recent happenings in the Drupal community, including information on Drupal 7, future DrupalCons, the Tattler module, and a variety of other topics. Listen in as the winners of the most recent DrupalEasy "Bookaway" are announced and check out our "picks of the week".

5 Stories

Picks of the Week - every podcast we each pick a module, theme, or other Drupal-related "thing" that we'd like to spread the word about.

  • Mike - Prepopulate by Joshua Brauer (jbrauer) - prepopulate Drupal form fields from querystring variables.
  • Andrew - Multistep by Victor Kareh (vkareh)- add multistep functionality to any form
  • Ryan - Semantic Views by Benjamin J Doherty (bangpound)- get control of your Views markup without messing around with template files.

Site of the Week - every podcast we collectively pick a (usually new) Drupal site to be highlighted and discussed. This week's picks are a flurry of big-name sites that were announced by Dries Buytaert on his blog over the past week: CNNGo.com, Portland State University, Strayer University, Duke University, Stanford University Humanities Center, and Reuters Labs. Wow.

If you'd like your site highlighted, please submit it here: http://DrupalEasy.com/siteoftheweek
