Drupal Career Starter Program - Student Information

Drupal Career Online session begins August 19!

If you'd like to get on a path toward a promising career in web development, consider Drupal, and DrupalEasy Academy's Drupal Career Starter Program.  The 12-week immersive course is the only licensed classroom-based Drupal career training program in the US. 

The DCSP puts you on a shortened path to becoming a well-compensated professional in Drupal, one of the fastest growing content management systems used for website development in the world.  The open source Drupal CMS runs millions of the world's web sites, including 30% of successful US government sites. It is being adopted globally at a breakneck pace, leading to incredible demand for talent that is expected to grow for years to come.

12 weeks, each with of 2 intensive 3.5-hour classroom sessions and 4-hour lab sessions, co-working, and independent hands-on projects provide people who have IT backgrounds with a quick start and a clear direction toward new, stable careers in web development. DrupalEasy Academy also provides comprehensive learning resources, all included in tuition, including more than 80 screencasts, an ebook, handouts for each class, instructor office hours and plenty of ways to collaborate with the class and build hands-on experience.

Payment options are available through DrupalEasy Academy. Florida residents who are unemployed or otherwise meet CareerSource Florida program need-requirements may be eligible for training stipends through their local careersource provider. (All Florida applicants seeking workforce assistance must have a complete registration to include resume and skill set information at www.careersourceflorida.com. Scholarship eligibility will be determined through a separate process by CareerSource Florida staff.)

DCSP at a glance:

  • 12-week, 134 hours of training and practical labs
  • Potential for follow-on internship program
  • Any participants that meet minimum knowledge requirements will be considered
  • Classes capped at 25 students
  • Qualified applicants invited to a Taste of Drupal briefing before final selections are made
  • Tuition is $4,400, inclusive of classes, labs, materials and assitance in seeking internships
  • You may be eligible for assistance to cover the cost of this course through your local careersource board
  • DrupalEasy Academy offers a tuition payment plan
  • Participants are required to bring a suitably configured laptop to each class  (see details in the requirements section)
  • Next scheduled public session starts September 15, 2015
  • Next public session applications open May 1, 2015
