The first half of the day, we'll be covering several site administration topics that will help you configure, debug, and manage your web site in a way that will save you time and keep your users happy. We'll be talking about security, rich-text editing, search engine optimization, and some essential modules to help you manage your web site more effectively.
In the afternoon, we'll be building a content-driven web site that pulls in data from an RSS feed, incorporates it into the Drupal database, and then displays it in a number of ways using taxonomy, argument-driven Views, and context-sensitive Panels (basic knowledge of Views and Panels is strongly recommended).
